Two Solva-based artists, Nicola Schoenenberger and Mandy Fish, are joining forces to present a new exhibition celebrating the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast this summer. The joint showcase will take place at St Davids’ Memorial Hall, located on the High Street next to City Hall, and forms part of the North Pembrokeshire Open Studios 2026 event.
The exhibition runs from Saturday, August 22, to Sunday, September 6, with doors open daily from 10am to 4pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to view and purchase original artworks, limited edition prints, and cards throughout the fortnight. Entrance is free, with donations gratefully received for the RNLI.
Artworks Inspired by Local Landscapes and Marine Life
Nicola Schoenenberger’s collection features original seascapes and landscapes capturing beloved local spots, including Solva and Porthgain. Her display also highlights striking, handmade collaged prints of colourful marine life, featuring wrasse, mackerel, and Arctic char.
In addition to the original pieces, visitors can browse and purchase limited edition prints and cards during the exhibition. The showcase promises to be a fantastic, accessible event for art lovers and coastal admirers alike, offering a chance to support local creators.
Mandy Fish’s Printmaking Inspired by the Coast Path
Mandy Fish will be showing a selection of unique mono prints and digital montage prints inspired by walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Her works combine physical printmaking with digital collage techniques, creating distinctive pieces that reflect the coastal landscape.
On Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, Mandy will demonstrate non-press printmaking techniques for sketchbooks, offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at her creative process.
