The Black Country Living Museum has been hinted as a filming location for the upcoming Peaky Blinders series, with the museum's deputy chief executive David Middlemiss describing the site as "the home of Peaky Blinders."
Museum's role in the show's history
Mr Middlemiss said: "We are extremely proud the creator of Peaky Blinders has been able to call us the home of Peaky Blinders. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them for sure. We love having them here and we love having fans of the show visit us."
The Black Country Living Museum, located in Dudley, has featured prominently in previous seasons of the show, helping to bring the gritty world of Steven Knight's creation to life. It featured most notably as the setting of 'Charlie's yard' in all the series and the Netflix film.
New series details and cast
The new series, set a decade after World War Two, will introduce a host of fresh faces as Duke (Jamie Bell) and Charles Shelby (Charlie Heaton) find themselves racing to rebuild Birmingham, facing uncertainty and potential jeopardy.
Conleth Hill joins as Clemmy Keeler, the fierce patriarch of the Keeler gangster family, who rival the Peaky Blinders' ambitions to rebuild the city.
Filming locations and fan experiences
The new series was recently being filmed in and around Digbeth Loc. Studios, near to Birmingham city centre.
The Peaky Blinders filming location tour is now available at the Black Country Living Museum where you can walk the same streets, alleys and canal yards as Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and the rest of the cast.
