Peter Kay donates 2026 tour profits to cancer charities

Beloved comedian Peter Kay has made a stunning revelation about his upcoming 2026 tour, announcing that all profits will be donated to cancer charities.

A Charitable Commitment

The 52-year-old comic appeared on BBC's The One Show on Wednesday, November 26, to confirm new dates for his ongoing Better Late Than Never tour. During his appearance, Kay shared the extraordinary news about where the money from his shows would be going.

"It's finishing next year, and I am announcing the last lot of shows, but all the profits are going to cancer charities," Kay told presenters.

The extensive list of beneficiaries includes: Children With Cancer UK, Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer UK, Prostate Cancer UK, DKMS UK, Ovarian Cancer Action, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Anthony Nolan, The Brain Tumour Charity and Breast Cancer UK.

Supporting Vital Causes

Kay explained his motivation behind the generous decision, noting that cancer has touched nearly everyone's lives in some way. "Unfortunately, everybody knows someone who's been affected on that list, and I just hope people support it," he said.

The comedian made a heartfelt appeal to his fans: "Come to the shows. That's why I'm here. This is about supporting those charities." He then lightened the mood with his characteristic humour, joking: "If it's not funny, you get your money back... You don't. I hope you'll come and do it. It's 12 cancer charities."

Tour Details and Ticket Information

The newly announced 2026 dates form part of the Better Late Than Never tour that originally began in 2022. Due to overwhelming public demand and the tour's enormous success, Peter has continued performing across Britain for the past three years.

This year alone, the comic has entertained audiences in numerous cities including Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Belfast, Liverpool, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and London.

Tickets for the extended tour go on sale on Sunday, November 30, with the additional shows scheduled to commence on March 8, 2026.
