London Summer Walk Returns to Capital with Three New Routes
London Summer Walk Returns with Three New Routes

The London Summer Walk is set to return to the capital on Saturday, August 22, drawing thousands of participants to explore historic landmarks and riverside sights. Organised from Woolwich, the event offers three supported walking routes designed to accommodate individuals of all fitness levels.

Three Routes for Every Ability

Participants can choose from a family-friendly 10km walk, a 25km loop, or a challenging full 42km course. The longest route takes walkers through the Woolwich Tunnel, past the Olympic Park, and alongside the iconic Tower of London. The 25km option features famous locations including the Cutty Sark, the Old Royal Naval College, and Greenwich Peninsula.

Central Hub and Full Support

All three courses start and finish at the same central hub, where a lively atmosphere awaits throughout the day. Walkers receive full support along their chosen route, including rest stops, food, drinks, and assistance from medical staff and volunteers. Every person who completes the event is awarded a special medal, a certificate, and a free massage at the finish line.
