Warwick is set to be transformed into a vibrant celebration of south-east Asian culture as the spectacular Magic of Thailand Festival makes its highly anticipated return to the town. Organized by the local Rotary Club, this annual extravaganza promises to bring the sights, sounds, and exotic flavors of Thailand straight to the heart of Warwickshire, offering a unique cultural escape without needing a passport.
Event Details
The festival will take over Warwick Racecourse on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th, 2026, opening its gates from 10am to 6pm each day. Visitors can look forward to an unforgettable weekend packed with traditional blessings from Buddhist monks, high-energy Thai boxing demonstrations, and stunning performances by live dancers and musicians, alongside a bustling market selling authentic street food, crafts, spices, and relaxing traditional massages.
Last Year's Success
Last year's event saw thousands enjoy two days of Thai culture. Buddhist monks start the festival off with their ceremonies and the traditional reception of gifts from the traders. Following a welcome from the Mayor, there will be a top-class presentation of Thai culture on stage throughout the day, with dancing, lady boys, music, Thai boxing and cookery demonstrations, as well as the chance to win a flight to Thailand.
