A brand new splash pad has just opened at Lido Park in Droitwich Spa, near Birmingham, and it is already making a splash with families. Named Saltwich Splash, this water play area features a delightful wildlife theme, with colourful pictures of otters, bees, frogs, and squirrels adorning the surroundings.
What to Expect at Saltwich Splash
Visitors enter through a wooden archway bearing the name of the attraction. Inside, children can enjoy running through green arches, dodging water sprays, and braving the tipper bucket that dumps water on those below. A water run at different levels, accessible via a ramp, offers additional fun for kids of all ages.

The £550,000 water play area is situated next to the tennis courts in Lido Park, which is also home to a popular outdoor pool. The park is located at Worcester Road, Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, WR9 8AA, and offers parking facilities.
Getting There from Birmingham
By car, the journey from Birmingham to Droitwich Spa Lido Park takes approximately 40 minutes via the M5 motorway, traffic permitting. Alternatively, visitors can take a train from Birmingham Snow Hill Station to Droitwich Spa, with the park just 0.7 miles from the station—a 15-minute walk.
