Author Siren Knight will be reading extracts from her young adult novel Princess (Apparently) at Kingswinford Library on Saturday, September 26, from 1pm to 2pm. She will also discuss her writing journey and take questions from the audience.
Library manager welcomes author visit
Jo Tipler, library manager, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming Siren to Kingswinford. Her book is getting some excellent reviews and I'm sure young readers will enjoy meeting her in person."
Princess (Apparently), published by Usborne in August, follows Della, a teenager who receives a royal invitation after a protest video goes viral. The novel has been attracting positive attention since its release.
Author's background and achievements
Ms Knight, who lives in the Wolverhampton area, holds an MA in creative writing and works as a GCSE tutor and English lead. She is also one of 20 authors nationwide to have been selected for the GLL Literary Foundation 2026 bursary placement.
The free event is suitable for ages 11 and over. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear the author read from her work, learn about her path to publication, and ask questions directly.
