Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has declared himself the "proudest dad" after his model daughter, Holly, married Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty in a lavish ceremony at Bath Abbey. The Saturday wedding drew a host of famous faces, including Sir David Beckham and his family.
A Star-Studded Affair at Bath Abbey
The historic Bath Abbey provided the backdrop for the union of 25-year-old Holly Ramsay and 30-year-old Adam Peaty. The guest list was a who's who of British celebrity, with former footballer Sir David Beckham, his wife, fashion designer Victoria Beckham, and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper in attendance. Other notable guests included chef Marcus Wareing and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies.
Holly arrived at the abbey hand-in-hand with her father, her wedding dress concealed beneath a white cloak. Onlookers spotted hints of lace, a scalloped skirt, and a long train. She completed her look with a veil and a dewy makeup style. Her bridesmaids, including sisters Tilly and Megan Ramsay, wore floor-length red satin gowns, while mother Tana Ramsay chose a bottle green dress.
Family Joy and Tensions
Gordon Ramsay shared his joy on Instagram before the ceremony, writing: "I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law! I love you so much and couldn't be a prouder Dad." The morning of the wedding, Peaty also posted a sunrise photo captioned "Morning of our wedding."
However, the day was not without family strain. Peaty's parents, Caroline and Mark, were absent from the ceremony. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Caroline Peaty spoke of a family rift, reportedly stemming from not being invited to Holly's hen do. "This is the first Christmas that I've not had my family together – my family is broken," she said, while adding she wished the couple the best day.
From Strictly to the Aisle
The couple's romance reportedly began after they were introduced by Holly's sister, Tilly, when both Peaty and Tilly were contestants on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. They announced their engagement in September 2024. Peaty, a Staffordshire-born athlete, has won six Olympic medals. He has a five-year-old son from a previous relationship with artist Eirianedd Munro.
Victoria Beckham turned heads in a £1,290 dark teal gown from her own Pre Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Ahead of the event, foliage was arranged around the abbey's iconic West Front door, setting the scene for a classic winter wedding that blended celebrity glamour with traditional English pageantry.
