Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has posted a heartfelt tribute to his daughter, Holly Ramsay, on the day she is set to marry Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.
A Father's Pride on the Big Day
The 25-year-old bride is being walked down the aisle by her famous father today, Saturday, December 27, 2025. Ahead of the ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey, Ramsay took to Instagram to express his feelings.
Sharing pictures with his daughter, the chef wrote about how fortunate he felt to be part of the occasion. "I'm truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adam_peaty!" he said.
He added a touching personal note: "I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn't be a prouder Dad xxx."
Lavish Ceremony Overshadowed by Family Fallout
While the day is one of celebration, reports indicate it has not been without tension. The build-up to the Holly Ramsay wedding has been marked by a significant fallout between the groom, Adam Peaty, and his own family.
This dispute led to the dramatic decision to uninvite his relatives from the nuptials. It was further reported that Peaty's mother, Caroline, had initially considered gatecrashing the event, heartbroken at not being included.
Security and a Change of Heart
The couple had allegedly arranged for round-the-clock security to maintain privacy and prevent public photography. Despite the earlier reports, it is understood that Caroline Peaty has now decided against attending, believing it would be "too upsetting" for her.
This ensures the focus will remain on the union of Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty, as they begin their married life together in a ceremony blending celebrity, sport, and, for one father at least, immense pride.
