Students across Birmingham and the West Midlands collecting their A-level results today (Thursday, August 13) can take advantage of a range of freebies and discounts at popular restaurants and bars. Chains including Nando's, Slim Chickens, Ask Italian, Bill's, and Frankie & Benny's are all offering special deals to mark the occasion.

To claim most offers, students will need to show their official results, and in some cases a student ID, so it's worth carrying these along when heading out to celebrate. Here's a rundown of what's on offer.
Nando's: Free 1/4 Chicken or Starter
Nando's is offering students a free 1/4 chicken or starter today. To claim the offer, you need to spend £7 or more and present your results at the till along with your student ID.
The deal is available at participating Nando's restaurants across Birmingham and the West Midlands, giving students a chance to enjoy a meal after receiving their grades.
Slim Chickens: Free Tenders and Dipping Sauce
Slim Chickens is giving students three free chicken tenders and a dipping sauce, available for one day only on A-level results day. To claim, head to the Slim Chickens website, grab a code, and put it into the app. Once at the restaurant, show the code in your app together with your A-level results to get the deal.
This offer is part of a wider campaign by Slim Chickens to celebrate results day across the UK.
Frankie & Benny's, Ask Italian, and More
Frankie & Benny's is offering all A-level students a free starter and free dessert with every main meal on results day. To claim the deal, head to the results day page on the restaurant's website, fill out a form to get a unique code, and take your A-level results with you to the restaurant.
Ask Italian is offering a free main meal to A-level students today, but there's a catch: students need to bring a parental figure who will be asked an exam-style question. If they get it right, the student wins a free main meal. For anyone who doesn't get the question right, the restaurant will offer a complimentary glass of fizz – or a non-alcoholic alternative – to celebrate the day.
Las Iguanas is also offering a free starter and dessert when you buy a main meal. Sign up via the restaurant's results day page to receive a unique code, then show your results when you visit. Bird & Blend is giving students a free iced matcha worth £5.25 – just show your A-level results and student ID. Bill's is offering a free dessert with the purchase of a main course, simply by showing your A-level results.
