Birmingham Venues Open for England vs Mexico 1am World Cup

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer confirmed emergency laws to allow pubs and venues to stay open until 5am for the 1am kick-off of the England vs Mexico World Cup match. Monday morning will see England square off against Mexico, but due to its North American stadium, fans are in for a gruelling late night. Thankfully, a wave of venues have confirmed they will remain open for the rare event, and below is a list of many which have made the announcement.

Here are all the pubs that have confirmed they will stay open:

Temper and Brown - 12-13 Albion St, B1 3ED. On Instagram, they posted: "Join us from Noon as DJ Mikey D From 7pm sets the mood with classic reggae and party anthems before the 1am kick-off. Grab a pint, order some late-night food, soak up the atmosphere, and roar the Three Lions on with fellow fans."

The Button Factory - 25 Frederick St, B1 3HH. On Facebook, they confirmed: "You know the drill. £5 tickets for The Yard available on Skiddle. VIP tables are also available which includes a beer on arrival. +++ The Yard is FREE entry for local residents, just bring proof of address and walk-in."

Rose Villa Tavern - 172 Warstone Lane, B18 6JW. On Facebook, they said: "Book your table now for England’s next World Cup match with England at the RVT!!! Call us your message to book your table."

The Box Bar - 1-2 The Waters Edge, Brindley Place, B1 2HL. Box confirmed they would remain open in an Instagram reel.

The Indian Brewery - 1 Mary Ann St, B3 1RL. In another Instagram post they said: "We are licenced & ready."

Hop Garden - 19 Metchley Ln, Harborne, B17 0HT. On Instagram, they wrote: "It’s official: England v Mexico at 1am is ON. Thanks to Mr Starmer’s change."

O'Neill's - 310 High St, Harborne, B17 9PU. The pub confirmed how to book a table for the match, writing: "Our deposit will be redeemed on the day of your booking and can be used for food or drink but cannot be refunded as cash."

Snobs - 200 Broad St, B15 1SU. "Yes, we are showing the game! Please note this match kicks off at 1am on Sunday night/Monday morning. We'll be open from 12am," they confirmed on social media.

Toca Social - The Bullring, 11 St Martin's Walk, B5 4BU. The bar has confirmed they will remain open until early hours for the game.

Saint Paul's Market - 4 Mary Ann St, B3 1RL. The market made the decision via a social media poll, with fans overwhelmingly picking in favour of the food hall to remain open.
