Birmingham is set to host Europe's biggest World Cup fan park on Saturday, July 11, for the quarter-final match between England and Norway. The event will take place at the Utilita Arena, the city's largest gig venue outside of Villa Park, and is expected to bring together 10,000 fans.
Fan Park Details and Special Guests
The fan park is organized by 4TheFans, a company that previously hosted a successful fan zone for Aston Villa's Europa League final victory over SC Freiburg in May. For the England match, former Aston Villa players Lee Hendrie and Carlton Cole will be special guests. The event will feature a giant screen, live music, and entertainment.
Timings and Tickets
The match kicks off at 10pm on Saturday, with the arena opening at 7pm. Last entry is at 9pm. Tickets start from £11.25 and include free beer. Options include VIP packages, tables, standing, and seated areas. Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult (maximum three under-18s per adult) and cannot sit on the main floor seating area; they should choose arena tiered seats. Tickets are reportedly selling fast.
