Customers at a Birmingham sports bar can win free drinks for a year by legally changing their name to England captain Harry Kane. BOX in Brindleyplace is offering the quirky promotion, allowing up to five people to claim one free drink per week until July 2027.
How the promotion works
Participants must change their name via DeedPoll and provide valid documentation along with official photo ID. The offer is open until England's last game of the current tournament, with entries on a first-come, first-served basis. Only those aged 18 and over can enter.
Eligible drinks include any beer served on draught, valid at all seven BOX venues nationwide. BOX reserves the right to disqualify anyone suspected of fraud or misuse.
Why the bar chose Harry Kane
Tom Mayer-Jones, BOX Brand and Marketing Manager, said: "Harry Kane has delivered for England time and time again, and we wanted to celebrate that in true BOX style. If fans think England are going all the way, now’s the time to prove your commitment."
Faking a deed poll is fraud and can carry legal consequences. BOX will verify all documents and reject fraudulent submissions.
Terms and conditions
The offer allows one free drink per week until July 2027. Participants must submit valid Deed Poll documentation and supporting identification. BOX may refuse participation or remove the offer if fraudulent activity is suspected.
