Quotes from Organizers
Dexter Drown, conductor, said: “Grace Road is steeped in history, and the LSO will have the privilege of writing a new chapter. We have already begun our rehearsals, and I can assure you that the musicians are exceptionally talented. If you choose to purchase a ticket, I am confident you will enjoy every moment.”
Emma White, Chief Executive of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, commented: “I am genuinely thrilled that this is coming to fruition. It presents a wonderful opportunity for the club to broaden its engagement with the community beyond cricket. The talent of the LSO is remarkable; after experiencing their music, I was determined to bring 'Proms on the Pitch' to life.
