Hobbycraft Droitwich, located within Webbs of Wychbold Garden Centre near Birmingham, is marking its 20th anniversary by offering free goody bags worth £20 each to the first 50 customers through the doors on Saturday, July 4, from 9am.

The celebration also includes a 'golden ticket' hunt, where one lucky shopper will win a £50 Hobbycraft gift card redeemable in-store or online.

Store manager praises community support

Store manager Faizan Shah said: "Reaching 20 years in Droitwich is a fantastic milestone for the store and a testament to the incredible local community that has supported us throughout the years. We’re proud to have inspired so many customers through our products and workshops, and we’re excited to celebrate this special occasion with them. We look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces in-store this weekend."

Over two decades, Hobbycraft Droitwich has become a creative hub for makers. In 2026 alone, the store sold nearly 20,000 balls of yarn, reflecting the enduring popularity of knitting and crochet in the local area.

The store runs workshops covering sewing, model making, papercraft, and painting. Long-serving staff member Andrew Davies has been with the store since it opened and is passionate about model making.
