The first look at Wednesday 1st July's Love Island episode reveals emotional turmoil as the Islanders face the fallout from the Secret Selfie Challenge and the impending recoupling.
Jasmine's Emotional Breakdown
Jasmine is seen breaking down on the day beds, seeking advice from her girlfriends after seeing a photo of Kavan kissing newcomer Charleen in Casa Amor. She questions how they will navigate the recoupling, saying: 'This was for him to prove to me... He was the one who called the break and I said that’s not what I wanted and I fought for it.'
Yasmin comments: 'The first time you’re out of sight out of mind he’s gone and done that.' Angelista adds: 'He’s in jail and we’ve thrown away the key.' Mica comforts Jasmine, stating: 'He is just fumbling the baddest girl in the world.'
Angelista's Tears
Angelista also breaks down, questioning her relationship with Simba after his Casa Amor behaviour. She says: 'I just don't know how to feel. I actually just can't be arsed. It's just up and down, up and down, up and f***ing down.'
Boys' Regrets
In Casa Amor, Simba confesses to the boys: 'Bro, I'm just thinking about Angie. I just like, what the f**k am I doing?' Kavan also doubts his choices, admitting he's 'worried to go back' to the main villa, thinking he's messed things up with Jasmine.
The Recoupling Text
Mica receives a text announcing the recoupling, which reads: 'Boys, tonight there will be a recoupling in which you must decide whether you want to remain coupled up with your girl back in the Villa, or recouple with one of the new girls.' Samraj jokes: 'The school trip is over.'
Maya Jama's Arrival
Maya Jama heads into the main villa to oversee the recoupling, which promises to be the most dramatic of series 13. One Islander is left 'livid' by their partner's choices, another brands them 'disrespectful', and chaos ensues as the results are revealed.
