The Brick House Cafe, a popular Lego-themed cafe in Telford, has reopened its doors in a new, larger location, offering more space for Lego enthusiasts and families. The cafe moved from its original site in the town centre to a bigger venue on the outskirts, aiming to accommodate its growing customer base.
New Location and Expanded Facilities
The new premises, located on the Stafford Park industrial estate, boasts double the floor space of the previous cafe. Owner Stephanie Taylor said the move was driven by the need for more room to host Lego-building sessions and events. The cafe now includes a dedicated Lego shop, a larger play area with thousands of bricks, and a party room for celebrations.
Stephanie Taylor, who founded the cafe in 2018, said: "We were bursting at the seams at the old place. We had queues out the door, and it was clear we needed a bigger space to give our customers a better experience."
Community Response and Future Plans
The reopening has been met with enthusiasm from local families. The cafe offers a range of Lego sets for purchase, as well as a pay-per-hour play area where children can build creations. Taylor plans to introduce more Lego-themed workshops and events, including adult building nights and charity builds.
The Brick House Cafe is open Tuesday to Sunday, with extended hours on weekends. The cafe also serves food and drinks, with Lego-themed treats such as brick-shaped cakes and cookies.
