Sports commentator Joe Buck has revealed new details from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's star-studded New York wedding, including the emotional moment the NFL star became overwhelmed as his bride walked down the aisle. Speaking on the Starkville podcast, Buck described Travis as a 'puddle' of tears during the ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3, attended by around 1,000 guests.
Emotional Vows and a Surprise Song
According to Buck, Taylor walked down the aisle to her hit song 'Love Story', creating a deeply emotional atmosphere. The couple then exchanged personal vows that Buck described as 'long, well-written, funny, sweet, and emotional.' He added that the ceremony felt 'deeply authentic' and not staged, despite the celebrity-filled guest list, which included Tom Cruise, Sir Paul McCartney, Selena Gomez, and Stevie Nicks.
Buck noted that Travis was already emotional watching his nieces walk down the ramp before Taylor's entrance. 'Travis was a puddle,' Buck recalled. 'And then when she walked out, he was a puddle.'
Family Roles and No-Phone Policy
Family played a central role in the wedding. Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, and his wife Kylie's four daughters served as flower girls. Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and 15-month-old Finnley walked down the aisle before the bride. Speaking to the Reno Gazette-Journal, Jason expressed his gratitude: 'It was a special event for our entire family. My daughters are incredible. They're beautiful, they have incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them.' He added, 'Very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day.'
The couple enforced a strict no-phone policy throughout the ceremony and celebrations, which Buck suggested allowed guests to fully enjoy the occasion without distractions.
Surprise Guest Karlie Kloss
Another notable detail was the attendance of supermodel Karlie Kloss, who arrived with her husband Joshua Kushner. Given years of speculation that she and Taylor had fallen out, her presence surprised fans. Appearing on NBC's Today, Kloss declined to discuss private details but made clear she was delighted for the newlyweds.
The wedding at Madison Square Garden, with its mix of intimate family moments and Hollywood glamour, continues to generate headlines as more details emerge from guests and family members.
