Merry Hill's Halloween House returns with 200 free goody bags

Halloween House, the popular Halloween megastore, has reopened its doors at Merry Hill shopping centre today (August 9), marking its eighth appearance at the venue and reasserting its status as Europe's biggest Halloween store. To celebrate, the first 200 customers who spend £25 or more will receive a free goody bag valued at over £50.

What to expect at this year's store

Shoppers can explore immersive themed zones, including a spooktacular Mad Scientist's Lab. The cemetery area has been revamped, featuring a 13ft wicked witch among dozens of other animated characters. The store also offers wall-to-wall spooky costumes, masks, and makeup, plus quirky autumn and Halloween home décor.

Centre manager's excitement

Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, said: “We’re so excited to welcome Halloween House back for its eighth year and are already anticipating queues at the door on Sunday to celebrate its opening. We’re very proud to house Europe’s largest Halloween store right here in the heart of the Midlands, and every year we’re impressed by the number of visitors it draws in from across the country. At Merry Hill, we’re committed to making every visit memorable and a full fun day out with the family – Halloween House certainly contributes greatly to this.”

New experiences for horror fans

We’ve brought back old favourites that guests have loved from years gone by, but also some new, exciting experiences that will blow everyone’s mind. We can’t wait to see families enjoying the experience we’ve put on. It may be our best year yet.”

Location and opening times

Halloween House is located on the ground level of Merry Hill and will be open seven days a week from 9 August to early November. After that, the store will transform into Christmas House from November onwards, offering a festive shopping experience.
