Hinckley Operatic Society Brings Guys and Dolls to Stage in May
Hinckley Operatic Society Presents Guys and Dolls

Hinckley's talented Amateur Operatic Society is set to transport audiences back to the bustling streets of 1950s New York this May with their lively production of the iconic musical Guys and Dolls. The show features beloved musical numbers including 'Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat', 'Luck Be a Lady', and 'A Bushel and a Peck'. Audiences will follow the charming story of Sarah Brown, a committed and straight-laced mission sergeant who unexpectedly finds love in the underground world of law-dodging gamblers she initially set out to reform.

A Dedicated Cast and Crew

Director and choreographer Lisa Marsh expressed her enthusiasm for the production, saying: 'We would encourage anyone who loves the glitz and glamour of classic musicals to gather friends and family for a great night out at the Concordia Theatre. Our talented cast members have worked incredibly hard in rehearsals over the past six months, and we are immensely proud to finally bring this funny, heartfelt, and high-energy show to the stage.'

Enhanced Theatre Experience

Theatregoers can enjoy pre-theatre and interval drinks at the Concordia's Spotlight bar, as well as hot drinks and ice creams. Ample free parking is available nearby. Additionally, there is a chance to win a bottle of prosecco with every show programme purchased.
