Two of the West Midlands' top comprehensive schools are located in the same town, offering parents more choice of excellent education on their doorsteps. According to a respected Sunday Times list, Arden Academy and Alderbrook School, both in Solihull, rank among the best six comprehensive secondaries in the Midlands.
Arden Academy ranks second in the Midlands
Arden Academy in Knowle has been ranked second in the Midlands, only behind St Paul's School for Girls in Edgbaston, which was named school of the year. Alderbrook School secured sixth place in the region. Both schools are considered among the top 255 comprehensives in the country out of over 4,000, a significant achievement.
