Chinese energy technology company Hinen has officially launched its latest residential battery storage system, the A15, in the United Kingdom. The product aims to provide households with a reliable and intelligent solution for storing solar energy and managing electricity consumption.

The A15 is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a usable capacity of 5 kilowatt-hours (kWh). It is designed to be wall-mounted and comes with an integrated inverter, simplifying installation. The system supports both AC and DC coupling, making it compatible with existing solar panel arrays. Hinen claims the A15 offers a round-trip efficiency of 95%, ensuring minimal energy loss during charging and discharging cycles.
The battery is equipped with a smart energy management system that can be monitored via a mobile app. Users can track energy production, consumption, and storage in real time. The system also supports time-of-use scheduling, allowing homeowners to charge the battery during off-peak hours when electricity rates are lower and discharge during peak hours to reduce bills.
