Wilton Manor Care Home Celebrates Resident's 100th Birthday with Royal Card and Belly Dancers
Wilton Manor Care Home, which is part of the Sanders Senior Living Group, recently celebrated a significant milestone as resident Peter reached the impressive age of 100 years old. To commemorate this special occasion, Peter received a unique birthday card from His Majesty the King, adding a royal touch to the festivities and making the day even more memorable for everyone involved.
A Festive Celebration with Entertainment and Refreshments
Staff and residents at Wilton Manor came together to organize a lively celebration in honour of Peter's centenary. The event featured a variety of entertainment, delicious refreshments, and a beautifully crafted cake prepared by the home's skilled chefs. Peter expressed his delight at the surprise celebration, stating: "I wasn't expecting the belly dancers but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the party and so did everyone else, we really did have a laugh and that's what I love doing most." He also mentioned the importance of having his son and daughter present to celebrate with him, adding: "It was nice having my son and daughter there to celebrate with me as well. The staff here have been so lovely, and it was nice to see them enjoying themselves too."
