The 47-year-old former glamour model described this year's festive period as surprisingly calm, despite being surrounded by her children. Katie was joined by her mother Amy and all of her kids, including her 23-year-old son Harvey, for the holiday getaway.
In the vlog, Katie expressed her contentment, stating she felt 'so relaxed' after the usual Christmas build-up. She then made a significant declaration about the year ahead, telling viewers that 2026 would be a 'new start' for her mum.
A Gift of Freedom and Independence

Amy, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) in 2017, was visibly moved by the gesture. Katie explained the scooter's benefits, highlighting how it would allow her mum to visit the beach and local shops without worrying about parking or exertion.
'It's a new lease of life, freedom,' Katie said in the video. 'You can just whiz down there to the beach... When it's fully charged, it will last ages.'
Ongoing Health Challenges and Family Support
Amy's health journey has been a public and challenging one. She underwent a lung transplant in November 2022, but the condition has remained unpredictable. Katie has previously spoken on her podcast about the frustration her mum feels at being unable to do the things she once could.
