The event featured a line-up of talented comedians, including local stars Ste Lomas and Liam O'Connor, who performed to raise vital funds for the Vikings Sports Foundation's 'Xtra Time' group.

Event Details and Sponsorship

The comedy night was sponsored by local business MECON Ltd and hosted by rugby club Halton Farnworth Hornets. The successful event brought together the community for an evening of laughter while supporting a crucial cause.

Cheque Presentation

Local comedian Ste Lomas presented the cheque to Sean Mellor, Head of Foundation at Vikings, who coordinates the project. This donation will provide crucial help and ongoing support to the group, ensuring men in the area have access to mental health resources.

The Xtra Time group is open to all men, and the meetings are completely free and friendly. If you or anyone you know would like to come along, the group meets at 6.30pm every Tuesday at the DCBL Stadium in Widnes, Cheshire.
