A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital following a serious crash in Oldbury. Emergency services were called to Dudley Road East in Tividale at 6.43pm on Sunday, April 26.
The rider sustained serious injuries after a collision involving multiple cars. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Emergency Response
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and multiple cars on Dudley Road East in Tividale at 6.43pm yesterday, and sent an ambulance to the scene.'
'On arrival, crews found a man, the motorcyclist, who they treated for serious injuries before conveying him under emergency driving conditions to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.'
Road Closure
Dudley Road East was closed for several hours following the smash. Those living nearby reported that the bridge was sealed off by police shortly after 7pm.
West Midlands Police has been contacted for comment. The incident remains under investigation, and authorities are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
