Three men have been arrested after a man was dropped off at a Black Country hospital with serious injuries. The victim, a man in his 30s, was brought to the Midland Metropolitan Hospital in Smethwick shortly after 2:30 PM on Wednesday, April 22.
Victim's Condition and Investigation
Upon arrival, he was found to have serious injuries and remains hospitalized. Detectives launched immediate inquiries to determine how he sustained his injuries and who was involved in transporting him. At this stage, West Midlands Police believe the man was injured in the Tudor Road area of Winson Green before being taken to the hospital in a black Mercedes.
Arrests Made
On Friday, April 24, three men aged 41, 40, and 23 were arrested on suspicion of assault. They remain in police custody, being questioned. Enquiries are ongoing, with detectives analyzing CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
Police are now appealing for public assistance in their investigation. They urge anyone with information about the incident or who saw the black Mercedes in the Tudor Road area around the time of the incident to come forward.
