Members of the public are being invited to help celebrate the outstanding work of NHS staff as Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust launch their first joint CARE Awards.
New Annual Awards
The new annual awards will shine a spotlight on the exceptional individuals and teams who go above and beyond for patients, families and their communities. Bringing colleagues together for a shared celebration reflects the growing collaboration between the two trusts, who recently came together to form the new South East Sector Health Care Partnership. Through the CARE Awards, the Partnership is committed to recognising excellence across the local NHS.
Public Nominations Encouraged
Patients, carers, visitors and members of the public are encouraged to nominate anyone who has made a real difference to their experience of receiving care, either at Stepping Hill Hospital, Tameside Hospital or in the community. If someone has exceeded your expectations or supported you at a difficult time, we want to hear about it. Nominations can be submitted through the online form, and all shortlisted nominees will be recognised at a joint celebration event in October.
