Lidl Recalls Chocolate Croissants Over Metal Fears

Lidl has issued an urgent recall of chocolate croissants due to fears they may contain pieces of metal. The affected product is Ferrero's Frozen Nutella Croissants, sold in packs of four, and customers are strongly advised not to consume them and to return them to the store for a full refund.

Affected Batches and Best Before Dates

The recall applies specifically to batches with codes L126Z39 and L127Z39. These products have best before dates of May 6, 2027, and May 7, 2027, respectively. No other Ferrero products are affected by this recall.

Ferrero stated: “The affected products are limited to specific batches. No other Ferrero product is affected, and consumers can continue to enjoy their products as usual.”

Previous Recall by Morrisons

This recall follows a separate product recall by Morrisons, which removed its Coronation Chicken Pasta from shelves due to incorrect milk labeling. Some packs may contain milk that is not declared in bold on the ingredient list, posing a risk to those with milk allergies or intolerances. Customers who purchased the product are urged to return it for a full refund and to avoid consumption if they have a milk allergy.
