A 44-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with 38 thefts from the same shop in Birmingham. The store, located on Villa Road in Lozells, was repeatedly targeted by a thief since March, prompting an investigation by West Midlands Police.
Arrest and custody
The woman was arrested on suspicion of shop theft and remains in police custody. Officers continue to investigate the series of incidents.

On the same day, Operation Fearless officers recovered several bags of cannabis during a stop and search on Villa Road on Wednesday, July 1. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
In separate incidents, a 26-year-old man was arrested as part of an ongoing drugs investigation, and a 35-year-old woman was detained for failing to appear at court following an incident of criminal damage.
