Wolves have received a timely injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Brighton, with Ladislav Krejci and Hugo Bueno both declared fit for the trip to the Amex Stadium.
Czechia captain Krejci has missed the last two matches due to a neck injury but has now returned to full training. Meanwhile, Hugo Bueno has been managing a knee problem and was substituted in the previous game against Sunderland, but he has also been given the green light to feature.
Positive Update from Rob Edwards
Manager Rob Edwards provided the latest on his squad’s fitness during a press conference at Compton. “Krejci has trained the last couple of days and can be back involved in the group,” Edwards confirmed. “Hugo missed the early part of this week but then he’s trained the latter stages. He’s OK, we’re still aware of it, but he’s fit.”
Sa Still Sidelined
However, goalkeeper Jose Sa will miss the Brighton match after sustaining an ankle injury. Edwards remains optimistic about his return for the next home fixture against Fulham. “Sa is getting back to it but won’t be involved quite yet, but we’re hopeful of having him for next week. He was in and around training today, so that was a positive,” he added.
The positive news on Krejci and Bueno will lift spirits in the Wolves camp as they look to secure a positive result on the south coast.
