Aston Villa released their home kit for the 2026/27 season earlier this month, with the away and third strips expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The kits are manufactured by adidas for a third consecutive season, and the home shirt draws inspiration from designs worn during the 1960s.
This year's home kit moves away from the traditional look, as it does not feature the usual blue sleeves. Instead, it presents a claret body complemented by subtle blue detailing. Light blue shorts and socks complete the outfield look, while yellow and black goalkeeper kits have also been confirmed.
Black Away Kit
The 2026/27 adidas away shirt delivers a sleek, classy aesthetic, featuring a black base paired with striking yellow logos and branding. Refined tricolour detailing — claret, sky blue, and yellow — appears on the collar and sleeve cuffs, maintaining a strong connection to the club’s heritage. The standout feature is a bold yellow lion on the chest, which is reportedly set to replace the full club crest.
Blue Third Kit
Villa’s adidas third kit for next season is expected to be light blue and may include centrally positioned logos. The last time the club wore a light blue shirt was during the 2022/23 campaign, when kits were produced by Castore in Unai Emery’s first season in charge. According to Footy Headlines, the design is set to feature a swirl pattern inspired by the gates of Villa Park, creating a distinctive visual identity that pays tribute to the club’s historic home.
