Aston Villa supporters now know the ticket prices and sale dates for the Europa League final later this month. The club is heading to just its second-ever European final, facing German side Freiburg in Istanbul. Fans may need to pay over £200 for a ticket.
Ticket Allocation and Pricing
Villa has received a general allocation of 10,758 tickets at the 42,000-seater Tupras Stadyumu, including disabled and easy access areas, as well as some restricted views. Prices are split into four categories. Over 1,000 tickets in the top bracket cost 240 Euros (around £205). A further 2,000 tickets are priced at 160 Euros (£140). More than half of the allocation falls into the third category at 65 Euros (£56) each. Nearly 2,000 'Fans First' tickets are available at just 40 Euros (£35).
How to Buy Tickets
Supporters must register their interest by Sunday, May 10. All tickets will be sold through the official Uefa ticket portal. Season ticket holders who attended 12 or more Europa League matches this season get first priority, followed by those with eight or more, then seven or more games.
Charter Flight Details
Villa will operate a charter flight from Birmingham to Istanbul on the day of the final, costing £1,095. This includes transfers to and from the stadium, with a return flight immediately after the match, but does not include a match ticket.
Road to the Final
Villa secured their spot in the final with a 4-1 aggregate semi-final win over Nottingham Forest. Captain John McGinn scored twice in the second leg, which Villa won 4-0 at Villa Park.
