Aston Villa has officially released full details for today's victory parade in Birmingham, celebrating their UEFA Europa League triumph. The free, unticketed open-top bus parade will take place on Thursday, May 21, starting at approximately 4:30 PM.
Parade Route and Timings
The parade is expected to take between 60 and 90 minutes to cover a 4.5-kilometer route. It will begin at Branston Street in the Jewellery Quarter, then proceed through Sand Pits and Broad Street, before concluding at Centenary Square. A three-bus convoy will feature players on a claret-colored bus, and the event will end with a trophy lift.
Viewing Advice
The club encourages fans to spread out along the route to ensure safety and a smooth event. Large screens will be set up at intervals to provide a great view for everyone. A dedicated raised viewing platform for up to 35 wheelchair users and 35 companions will be available at Centenary Square on a first-come, first-served basis.
Travel and Road Closures
Fans are strongly advised not to drive, as temporary parking suspensions and severe road closures will be in place across the city center from 10 AM to 10 PM. Public transport is recommended, but significant disruptions are expected: many bus routes will be diverted, trains will be very busy, and the West Midlands Metro will run a limited service after 10 AM.
Safety and Etiquette
An increased presence of police and stewards will manage crowds. Attendees should agree on a meeting point beforehand in case groups or children get separated. Supporters are encouraged to bring appropriate flags and banners but must be mindful of local residents, use provided public toilets, and dress for an outdoor event with limited shelter.
Remote Viewing
Those unable to attend can watch the event live on VillaTV, YouTube, and the club's social media channels. Additionally, the trophy will be paraded at Villa Park during the first home game of the 2026/27 season.
