A dwarf pitch invader gave stewards the runaround at West Brom’s final game of the season at Sheffield Wednesday. Fans at the Championship fixture cheered on the tattooed mini interloper as he ran onto the Hillsborough pitch.
Amusement at Hillsborough
Albion players were visibly amused by the interloper, who provided a brief highlight for many travelling Baggies fans. Despite the lighthearted moment, West Brom lost 2-1 to the already-relegated Owls.
Stewards Give Chase
Video has circulated online showing stewards attempting to catch the man, who manages to give them the slip on more than one occasion. He is eventually caught and led from the pitch, still to the cheers of amused supporters.
