Saiss Reflects on His Time at Wolves
During his visit, Saiss expressed his deep connection to the club and the city. He said, "Wolves will always be a special place for me. It feels like coming home." The 33-year-old played a key role in Wolves' promotion to the Premier League and their subsequent success in the top flight.
A Fond Farewell and Lasting Bonds
Saiss left Wolves in 2022 to join Turkish side Besiktas, but his bond with the club remains strong. He recalled the support from fans and the camaraderie within the squad. "The fans were incredible, and I made friends for life here," he added.
The visit included a tour of the training ground and a meeting with current players. Saiss also watched the team train, offering words of encouragement. His presence was warmly welcomed by both staff and players.
Saiss's contribution to Wolves is still remembered fondly. He made 206 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals. His versatility and leadership were vital during a transformative period for the team.
As he left, Saiss hinted at a possible future return to the club in some capacity. "You never know what the future holds. Wolves will always be in my heart," he said.
