West Bromwich Albion have handed a first professional contract to teenage midfielder Fenton Heard, who caught the eye with a standout performance against Liverpool in the FA Cup earlier this season.
Impressive Debut Against Premier League Giants
The 17-year-old made his senior debut for the Baggies in the third-round tie at Anfield in January, where he held his own against the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara. Heard's composure on the ball and intelligent movement earned praise from manager Carlos Corberan, who described his display as 'very positive'.
