Wolves Fans Boo Team After Draw with Sunderland

Wolves fans voiced their frustration after the team was held to a 1-1 draw by ten-man Sunderland, with supporters booing the players off the pitch for the second consecutive week.

Fans Vent Anger at Performance

Despite ending a run of three straight defeats, the performance at Molineux left many supporters unimpressed. Santi Bueno equalized for Wolves after Sunderland had taken the lead, and the visitors were reduced to ten men when Dan Ballard pulled Tolu Arokodare's hair. However, Wolves failed to capitalize on the numerical advantage, and substitutions were met with jeers.

One fan expressed disappointment in manager Rob Edwards, saying: "Desperately want Edwards to lead us to promotion, really want it to work for him. That though was a disgrace, as have the prior three games. Supine cowardice. 5ATB vs 10 men for 80 mins. Taking Hugo off for a guy who won't be here. Giving Edozie an insulting 30 seconds."

Another supporter called for Edwards' dismissal: "Imagine not setting a team up to attack when we already relegated and at home. Edwards Out."

Tactical Criticism Mounts

A fan who was previously undecided on Edwards said: "I was on the fence. But having sat back and evaluated. He's tactically inept. Hasn't got the players fighting for him nor their future. Hasn't got a viable plan or identity. Can't do anything to alter the course of a game and isn't going to be the sort of manager we need next yr."

Another added: "Like I have said for months no clue no tactics just wanting to be liked. Surely this has to be the final insult against 10 men and still defending for our lives. RE has to go now so we can prepare properly for a long hard season to come."

The result leaves Wolves still searching for consistency as they prepare for the next campaign.
