Aston Villa begin their pre-season preparations for the 2026/27 campaign with a friendly against Walsall at the Bescot Stadium tonight, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm.
Seven Friendlies and Super Cup Clash
Unai Emery's side will play a total of seven friendlies this summer, in addition to facing Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup after winning the Europa League in May.
After tonight's match against Walsall, Villa will travel to Portugal to face FC Porto at the Estádio do Dragão. They will then return to the Bescot Stadium to host Real Sociedad.
Far East Tour and Final Preparations
Villa will then fly to the Far East for matches against the Indonesia All Stars, BG Pathum United, and Bayern Munich. After facing PSG in Salzburg, Villa will conclude their pre-season with a match against Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany on Saturday, August 15.
