The 2026 Caerphilly 10K has achieved a record fundraising milestone, with participants helping to donate £1,107.50 to Llamau, a charity dedicated to supporting homeless individuals and families. The event, which took place in Caerphilly, marked the culmination of Llamau's tenure as the official charity partner, with the sum representing the highest ever raised through the partnership.
Cheque Presentation at Ystrad Mynach
A formal cheque presentation was held at the Centre of Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach to celebrate the achievement. Councillor Chris Morgan, cabinet member for sport and leisure, presented the cheque and expressed his gratitude. "We're delighted to have raised a record amount for Llamau through this year's event," said Cllr Morgan. "I'd like to thank everyone who chose to donate when registering and Llamau for their valued support as our charity partner, as well as the important work they do supporting people across our communities."

2027 Event and New Partnership Opportunities
With the 2026 run marking the final year of Llamau's partnership with the event, applications are now open for organisations interested in becoming the official charity partner for the 2027 Caerphilly 10K. Event Details and Price Freeze
The Caerphilly 10K will return on Sunday, May 9, 2027. A price freeze is currently in place until Wednesday, September 30, 2026, giving runners the opportunity to secure their place at the lowest available price. The annual event supports the local Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029, helping to encourage more residents to get active and take part in physical activity across the county borough.
