Tattenhoe Youth U9s Lionesses Receive New Kits Through Taylor Wimpey Sponsorship
The Tattenhoe Youth U9s Lionesses are stepping onto the pitch in style this season, thanks to a generous sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey South Midlands. This partnership has provided the young players with high-quality match day shirts and rain jackets, ensuring they stay warm and focused during outdoor games.
Grassroots Club Growth and Community Focus
Tattenhoe Youth FC, a popular grassroots club, has been training at Tattenhoe Park since 2009, located near the new Salden Place East development. Over the years, the club has expanded significantly and now holds a two-star accreditation, fielding 32 teams ranging from U7 to U18 levels. Beyond competitive success, the club emphasizes helping local children develop new skills, build lasting friendships, and foster a love for the game.
Taylor Wimpey's Commitment to Local Sports
Taylor Wimpey's sponsorship underscores their dedication to supporting local sports and enhancing community spirit around their building projects. The developer views Milton Keynes as a vibrant sports hub and plans to contribute further by including tennis courts, pitches, and running routes at their new site.
Fiona Lloyd, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, commented: "We are thrilled to support Tattenhoe Youth U9s Lionesses with their new matchday kits and rain jackets. Grassroots football plays such an important role in establishing a strong sense of belonging across the local community, while supporting the development of young athletes. This sponsorship also continues our support for local sports, as this follows our sponsorship for MK Dons, Cheyanna Norman, who proudly opened our new Salden Place East development in September 2025. We hope the young Lionesses enjoy their new kits and we wish them the best of luck this season!"
Club Gratitude and Community Impact
Ian Leathers, Tattenhoe Youth Chairperson, added: "Our players are delighted to have new kits and rain jackets! We are so grateful to Taylor Wimpey South Midlands for their sponsorship and support. It's always great to see local businesses give back to the community, especially investing in youth sports."
