Birmingham Airport Direct Flights to Cairo Starting October

Birmingham Airport has confirmed that direct flights to Cairo, described as a "bucket-list destination," will commence on Tuesday, October 27. The year-round service, operated by Egyptair, will run four days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

New Boeing 737 Max 8 Fleet

The flights will utilize Egyptair's new Boeing 737 Max 8, the latest addition to its fleet. The aircraft features a quiet, spacious cabin designed to enhance the flying experience, ensuring passengers travel to the Egyptian capital in comfort.

Strengthening Egyptian Connections

Matt Hazelwood, Chief Commercial Officer of Birmingham Airport, stated: "We are delighted to connect our passengers directly to a bucket-list destination like Cairo, a city that effortlessly blends thousands of years of incredible history with a contemporary culture, via our new partnership with EGYPTAIR. This route will strengthen our Egyptian offering, providing greater choice for our customers direct from Birmingham Airport."
