National Express West Midlands Bus Fares to Rise from June 28

National Express West Midlands has confirmed that bus fares will increase from June 28, 2026. The price of an all-day ticket will rise by 30p, from £5.20 to £5.50, while a weekly pass will increase from £20 to £21. The company stated that these changes represent an annual price rise due to rising costs of maintaining the bus network.

Fare Changes Details

Most tickets will see price increases, including pre-9.30am concessionary, NX Outer Zones, children, adult, and student fares. However, single adult tickets will remain frozen at £3, and child singles will stay at £1.50. Both are valid for one journey only.

National Express West Midlands said that paying by Direct Debit remains the best value option for regular travellers, at £67 per month for adults.
