Castle Bromwich shop could become new pizza takeaway

A new pizza takeaway could be opening in Castle Bromwich following a planning application submitted to Solihull Council. The proposal, submitted by Palisade Properties Ltd, seeks to change the use of a retail unit in Rudgeway House on Hurst Lane North from a shop to a restaurant.

Details of the proposal

The application includes a design and access statement prepared by Architecture & Interior Design Ltd, which states: "The proposal is for change of use from a Class use E to Sui Generis. It will be going from a retail shop to a restaurant."

Architecturally, the facade and shop front will remain unchanged. Internal alterations will ensure the space is functional and aesthetically pleasing. The plan indicates three full-time staff will be on site at all times, with one part-time employee also hired.
