Costa Coffee is set to launch a brand-new menu this week, introducing a range of drinks and snacks designed to provide comfort during the January chill. The nationwide rollout begins on Thursday, January 8, 2026, bringing a host of never-before-seen items to its UK stores.
A Matcha Moment and Latte Innovations
The coffee chain is placing a significant bet on the popularity of matcha, introducing a trio of new green tea-based beverages. Customers can look forward to a Hot Matcha Latte, an Iced Matcha Latte, and a more adventurous Strawberry Coconut Iced Matcha Latte.
Latte lovers are also in for a treat with the debut of a Spanish Caramelo Latte. For those who prefer to craft their drinks at home or on the go, Costa is launching new Instant Barista Creations Iced Latte sachets.
Warming Winter Food and Sweet Treats
To complement the new drinks, Costa's food menu is getting a seasonal update. The headline savoury item is the new Onion Bhaji Wrap, alongside a classic Tomato & Basil Soup. For a comforting breakfast or snack, a Tomato & Mature Cheddar Croissant will also be available from launch day.
The selection of sweet treats sees the return of the popular Banana & Chocolate Muffin, alongside an Orange & Raspberry Victoria Sponge and a Berry Crumble Slice. For those seeking a healthier option, Costa is introducing a Fruit & Nut Mix and Dried Mango.
Designed for January Comfort
Nishant Bhatia, Global Food and Beverage Innovation Director at Costa Coffee, explained the thinking behind the new menu. "January is about finding small moments of comfort and enjoyment, and that was front of mind when creating this menu - especially our new Matcha range," he said.
"Costa Coffee’s matcha is designed to be a feel-good ritual, whether you’re discovering matcha for the first time or already love its smooth flavour," Bhatia added. He noted that the menu, from the sweet Spanish Caramelo Latte to the satisfying Onion Bhaji Wrap, aims to make every visit "a little moment of happiness."
The full new January menu will be available in Costa Coffee shops across the United Kingdom from January 8.
