A Midland county lines drug dealer has been sentenced to prison after law enforcement officers confiscated a significant quantity of heroin and crack cocaine valued at £50,000. Mohammed Rahman, a 41-year-old resident of Walsall, was found to be operating a drug supply line that distributed cocaine and heroin to multiple towns including Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood, and Rugeley.

Rahman was taken into custody in September of the previous year by detectives from Staffordshire Police's major and organised crime proactive team. Prior to this arrest, he had been detained and subsequently released under investigation for similar drug supply offenses. The seized drugs were intended for users in Cannock and Lichfield.

During an earlier court appearance, Rahman entered guilty pleas to a series of charges. These included three counts of being concerned in the supply of heroin, two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug (heroin), and one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug (crack cocaine).

The case highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat county lines drug trafficking, which often involves the exploitation of vulnerable individuals and the transport of illegal substances from major cities to smaller towns and rural areas.
