Wolverhampton Set For Life Winner Claims £120,000 Prize After Appeal
Wolverhampton Set For Life Winner Claims £120,000 Prize

A mystery lottery winner from Wolverhampton has finally come forward to claim an incredible £120,000 prize after National Lottery operators issued a public appeal urging players to check their tickets. The lucky individual matched all five main numbers — 6, 13, 37, 42 and 43 — in the Set For Life draw that took place on Monday, April 27.

The winning ticket, purchased in Wolverhampton, entitles the holder to £10,000 every month for a full year. However, the winner did not come forward immediately after the draw, prompting National Lottery operator Allwyn to launch an appeal last week asking players to double-check their tickets.

On Tuesday, May 19, Allwyn confirmed that a valid claim had been received. The prize will be paid following a validation process, at an appointment with one of Allwyn's winners' advisers. No further details about the exact location of purchase or whether the winner is an individual or a syndicate will be released unless the ticket-holder chooses to go public.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, expressed delight at tracking down the winner. He said: "Last week, we launched an appeal for our missing Set For Life winner, and we're delighted to have tracked them down so we can hand over this incredible prize of £10,000 a month for a year to our lucky player. We'll now support the ticket-holder through the process so they can begin to enjoy their life-changing win as soon as possible."

The prize of £10,000 per month for 12 months totals £120,000, providing a substantial financial boost for the winner. The identity of the winner remains private for now, but the news has brought relief and excitement to the Wolverhampton area.
