Shoppers across the UK are in for a treat as Aldi announces the triumphant return of one of its most sought-after Christmas products. The budget supermarket is bringing back its wildly popular baubles, priced at just £3.99 for a pack of two, following what it describes as 'unprecedented demand'.
A Festive Favourite Makes a Comeback
Originally released as a limited edition item last year, the quirky decorations are back by popular demand just in time for the 2025 festive season. Aldi confirmed that the baubles offer a fun and affordable alternative to traditional Christmas tree decorations, allowing customers to add a unique touch to their holiday displays without breaking the bank.
The retailer emphasised that the items are available only while stocks last, urging customers to act quickly if they hope to secure them. A spokesperson for Aldi stated, 'Aldi fans can pick them up at just £3.99 for a pack of two, proving that festive style doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.'
This Year's Quirky Designs
The 2025 collection features a range of nostalgic and playful designs sure to capture the imagination. Shoppers can look forward to finding baubles shaped like a football, a retro robot, a classic camera, a toy car, a roller skate, and a vintage boom box.
Aldi suggests the decorations are perfect for gifting, Secret Santa exchanges, or simply giving your tree a 'cheeky personality boost'. The supermarket added a note of caution for eager buyers: 'Set to fly off the shelves, shoppers shouldn’t hang about because once they’re gone, they’re gone!'
Household Support Fund Deadline Looming
In related news for UK households managing budgets, North Yorkshire Council is reminding residents to claim £190 vouchers for use in nine supermarkets. This support comes via the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Household Support Fund.
However, there is a strict deadline. Residents must select their e-vouchers by Wednesday, 12 November 2025. The local authority has confirmed it cannot process any claims after this date.
The council explained that eligibility for this seventh phase of the fund is directed at the lowest income households. Support is being provided to households who were receiving a weekly discount of 75% or more on their council tax bill through the means-tested Council Tax Reduction Scheme as of Monday, 1 September 2025.
