Dunelm's new Holden Bedspread, priced at £18, has drawn shoppers who say they are buying it in all available colours. The bedspread, which is new to the retailer's website, comes in four shades: soft olive, denim, cream and coal.
According to Dunelm, the bedspread is designed to 'bring a sense of calm to any bedroom setting'. The product is made from durable polyester with a 'breathable composition', which the retailer says helps regulate temperatures during the night. Its quilted, minimalist design is described as bringing 'a touch of modern sophistication' to bedrooms.
Shopper feedback and ratings
At the time of writing, the Holden Bedspread holds a 4.8-star rating on Dunelm's website. One shopper, identified only as Anne, commented: "Great size, larger than I expected, totally covers my double bed. Wanted something to use during cooler nights without being to heavy and this is ideal. Lovely selection of colours and not too expensive for my budget."
Another customer, Bex, posted: "Super thick and lush! Large so folded in half and fills the lower part of a double or king bed." A further review from Christina added: "Beautifully soft and of good quality for the money. More than large enough for a double divan. You pay for what you get and this is great value for money. Bonus is that it's reversible, so versatile."
One shopper said: "Bedspreads bought for three bedrooms. Love Dunelm. Always shopping. Been in the store three times already. Without my hubby. Ha ha."
Criticism and alternatives
Not all feedback was entirely positive. One customer wrote: "Decent enough, but a little disappointed by the quality. Some of the stitching is faulty, and the fabric is a slightly odd texture (smooth but a little grippy). Saying that, it's a beautiful dark blue colour and is lovely and warm."
