Gioia London, a jewellery retailer based in the capital, will open its first Birmingham store at the Bullring this weekend. The kiosk will be located in the upper mall near Selfridges, outside Coach and Space NK.
Opening details and product range
The brand sells 18k plated, gold vermeil and 925 silver items. Its product line includes rings priced around £36, bangles at approximately £37 and necklaces for about £40. The shop will begin trading on Saturday, August 29.
Gioia already operates in London's Battersea Power Station, at Reading's Oracle shopping centre and at Fulham Broadway. The Bullring kiosk marks its first venture into Birmingham's retail scene.
Social media announcement and public response
On its social media pages, Gioia wrote: "Birmingham… it feels like home sweet home. We can't wait to meet the crowd at Bullring." The company added: "Make sure to come say hi to us, we will be launching with special offers at our kiosk."
The announcement drew comments from local shoppers. Perfume bar Scents and Scripts responded: "How exciting! Can't wait to shop from you guys here!" Aneeba wrote: "So excited to have you here!", while Madinah commented: "Woohoo!"
Retail context and next steps
The opening adds a new jewellery option to the Bullring's upper mall, complementing existing outlets in the vicinity. The special offers mentioned by the brand are expected to be available from the opening day at the kiosk.
